It feels like magic, but it’s actually geology. The water pouring into our springs has been trapped deep underground in the Floridan Aquifer, safe from the blistering sun. Because it is completely insulated by layers of limestone, it stays at the average year-round temperature of the earth above it exactly 72°F

Did you know that the gorgeous Robinson Preserve wasn't always a nature haven? Just a few decades ago, this 600+ acre park was nothing but disturbed agricultural farmland. It underwent one of the biggest ecological restorations in Florida history to bring back the natural salt marshes and mangrove tunnels you see today!
