Jesus is calling us away from what corrupts our soul and strangles our joy.
To follow Jesus you have to unfollow the gods you serve.
Jesus models full dependency on God
When everything else fails Jesus will not.

We get to serve, we get to be burdened for the gospel, we get to be used by God, we get to make disciples, we get to pick up our cross and follow Jesus. We get to be invited by God into something greater than us. We get to do this!
