🌀Most of the conversations about midlife bodies have focused on weight loss.
🌀I want to start a different one.
Because more muscle means more resilience. A stronger metabolism. A body that can carry you —
steadily, for decades.
🌀It’s not about pushing harder. It’s about building smarter.
🌀Save this one. Share it with a woman in your life who needs to hear it. 💜

We are surrounded by the promise of transformation.

Overhaul your hormones. Rebuild your metabolism. Optimize everything.

And if you're anything like many women I know and work with, you're tired of it.

Not because you don't want to feel better — but because all that noise about the biggest shift makes it almost impossible to notice the smaller ones that fill your cup:

🫶 The moment you slept a little more soundly and woke up rested.
🫶 The workout that left you feeling energized felt good rather than depleting.
🫶 The breath you remembered to take before reacting.

Sylvia Boorstein wrote that if we can grow just a little clearer, a little wiser, and a little more loving, our lives will be radically transformed.
Not overhauled. Transformed. Through attention. Through the small and the subtle.
That's what I keep coming back to in this work. The quieting. The noticing. The willingness to let a small shift actually count.
Your body has been trying to tell you something. It doesn't need you to overhaul it.
It needs you to listen.

💾 Save this for when the noise gets loud.

What if your movement practice felt like support instead of one more thing to push through?

Evening Flow to settle. Somatic Strength to build. Somatic Movement & Flow to release.

Each one is a small act of working with your body.

All classes at 5:00 pm. Link in bio.

This is what nervous system-informed movement looks like in practice. It's also the thread running through every week of Strong, Steady & Regulated, my small group coaching experience! DM for more information ✨✨✨✨

Most women I work with have heard about nervous system regulation.
But hearing about it and actually building it into your day are two very different things.
In my coaching work, I don’t start with a protocol. I start with you — what stress feels like in your body, where it is draining you, and what small, consistent practices will actually stick in your real life.
Because regulation isn’t something you have or don’t have. It’s a skill. And it can be learned.
Swipe through to see exactly how I coach women through it — and then head to the link in my bio to sign up for my newsletter this week, where I’m going deeper on all of it.
It’s practical, it’s grounded, and it might be the most useful thing in your inbox this week. 🌿

✨ Detecting our innate need to rest can be tricky -- you can be a warrior in the gym but still miss the skills to read your body's cues.

✨ Many of my female clients in midlife need a little extra practice in listening, validating, and acting on their bodies' need to rest.

✨ Here are a few things I keep in mind when I'm working with women in peri/menopause and midlife transitions:

✨ What worked yesterday might not work today. Her body is changing.

✨ She probably needs different things now, and this might go against her natural instincts or previous patterns. 🙋‍♀️

✨ She might not be able to push through like she used to because when she does, old injuries start to flare, or if she jumps right back in after weeks off, she might notice it takes her body longer to ramp up.

➡️ Swipe through for the full reframe — and save this for the next time you feel guilty about a rest day.

Building a supportive, rather than depleting, relationship with your body is empowering!

My favorite view driving into Boulder; it never gets old and I always feel my heart skip a beat 💕

✨ "Somatic" is a word I get asked about a lot — and I love that you're asking. Because once you understand it, it changes the way you move. Forever.

✨It's not a style of exercise. It's not slow movement, therapy, or something reserved for beginners.

✨ It's a relationship with movement. One that begins with curiosity rather than performance — and with listening rather than pushing.

✨ And in midlife, when your body is sending louder signals than ever before? Learning to actually hear them is one of the most intelligent things you can do for your health.

That “wired but tired” feeling in midlife is not in your head.

It’s your nervous system stuck in overdrive — and it needs a reset, not another coffee.

Swipe for 4 techniques that actually work (the first one takes less than 30 seconds).

Drop a 🌿 in the comments and I’ll DM you the full guide — which technique to use and exactly when.
