To the Muslim who reject Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as the based on the argument that majority of Muslim scholars have not accepted him.

A study of recent religious history will show that this position is a dangerous one to hold. In fact, the elite and scholars have consistently been the ones that outright reject the chosen ones of Allah.

Take Moses, Pharoah and the elite ridiculed him and aimed at persecuting him and Aaron. He had to flee for his life and save the children of Israel even after the magicians saw the signs and knew that he was true. He had to suffer in the wilderness and never saw the promised land.

Jesus was outright rejected by the Jewish scholars and nailed on the cross to prove that he was the false Messiah. Only a handful of people accepted him. Does that mean he was false? Absolutely not! He was indeed the true Promised Messiah of his time.

If the scriptures were so obvious about the prophecies regarding the great prophet whom the Muslims say is Muhammad (saw), would the elite Christian scholars all not have accepted him at once? Christians still argue, based on their understanding of the scriptures, that Muhammad (pbuh) was not a true prophet as prophecied in the Bible.

Now that Mirza Ghulam Ahmad claims to be the Promised Messiah, it would not be wise to argue that unless the Muslim scholars accept him unanimously, he wouldn’t be the true Messiah.

The fair conclusion is that the masses get stuck in the nitty gritty of prophecies and misunderstood them. The elite on the other hand get caught up in arrogance and not ready to humble themselves.

Subtle points to ponder now and take heed. It is the sincere at heart who take time to research and more importantly pray for Allah’s guidance regarding such matters.
