Our Career Catapult Bootcamp Program for Cohort 3 is 50% complete. We have an amazing mix of professionals, ethnicities and generations in this cohort of catapultiers which defines the Montgomery County Tech 👨🏽‍💻👩🏽‍💻 force. (We’ve even had a 15-month-old 👨🏽‍🍼 join our program for the first 2 sessions, all generations are learning and preparing for the future)

Looking forward to next weekend as we closeout our last 2-days of learning and continued journey of preparedness, proactiveness, persistence, perseverance and patience as we continue to journey 🛤️ as professionals.

I’m hopeful that Cohort 3 is truly enjoying not just the technology training but our discussions around professional culture, discipline, perception and the importance of customer service in any technology profession they pursue; as well as bonding with their fellow catapulting peers 🚀

🦁Bring your kid to work day 2026 is starting to be something my lil guy truly enjoys. I’m under the assumption it includes the extra hour he gets to sleep 🛌 in.

He designed a Minecraft Logical Internet Topology (Minecraft is his gaming enjoyment) leveraging Cisco infrastructure 💻🛜for home/office/other to understand the high-level concepts of how he connects from his IPad to Minecraft Gaming platform (he’s a 10 year old).

His question after the assignment 🙋‍♂️”how does this stuff happen so fast 💨 in seconds with all these connections across the world 🌎 with thousands of people gaming”?

Intriguing question from a 10 year old, here’s my logical response. “Some really smart and intelligent minds like yourself, collaboratively made it possible 🚀”. This is where the young Lion 🦁 starts his exploration through intrigue.
