First day of February--the LOVE month! 💕 Although many people say we should celebrate with our loves year round rather than waiting for the hallmark holiday to do so, I've always felt it can't hurt to have a special day set aside to be intentional and share how much that special someone means to you! So whether that be your crush, your boyfriend, your hubby or somewhere in between, take the time to tell someone what they mean to you! You never know what such words of truth and love might be etched on someone's heart forever.

The rain changed our ceremony plans, but it cleared up just in time to have a wonderful cocktail hour under this canopy or trees! 💕

Already missing this place. What is it about the beach that totally engulfs you in relaxation and forgetting every responsibility/obligation in the world? It's so sweet. I know it's not real life--being on the beach--but it sure makes real life a lot better after being there. Gotta take time to retreat and rest! It's good for you--good for the soul, mind, body, and for those that you do life with. They need your rested and rejuvenated spirit!

Planning my life out on a Thursday afternoon---probably one of my favorite things to do(I know, call me crazy). Ya know what they say, "failure to plan, is a plan to fail" Sidenote: love my planner! Not only is it pretty, it's super functional, the perfect size, pages that don't bleed(so I can use any fun pen I want). I have tried so many times to go straight digital planner, but I just can't do it. It's not in my blood. Do you love your paper planner and can't live without it, or does it make your stomach cringe, thinking about pulling out a paper planner???!

What's better than throwing an event at someone else's venue?? Throwing one at your venue(home)! Well, to me it is anyway! Loved putting together a celebration this past weekend with my favorite for Clyde and all the hard work he has put into grad school! We are so proud of you and super excited for this next chapter of your and Ali's lives.

So I'm a little late on the obligatory "post a photo of you and your mom on mother's day" and I rarely post photos of myself or my family so here's a good one from a trip to NYC and inside Grand Central Station. We took a trip along with my now husband. I didn't know how my southern mom was going to do in the BIG city, but she LOVED it and she didn't even skip a beat! I think this is where I get my go getter attitude, up for any adventure and new thing. She is also one of the hardest workers I know. Thankful she modeled that for me, and still continues to do so, even in her 60's(sorry mom---gave away your age ).

Look at this cute little train of flower girls! I love it. When your groom has 6 siblings, how do you just pick 1 niece to be your flower girl?? Many brides ask the question as to whether you should even have a flower girl or ring bearer. Why force it if there isn't a significant little one in your life that could fill that role? BUT if there's 6 significant little ones, then why not have them ALL!
