Formula Shortage

If you have specific questions, please contact our office and speak with one of our health care providers for assistance.

Important Tips:

Do not attempt to make your own formula for your child with online or family receipes or do not dilute formula with extra water to "stretch" it. These can be extremely dangerous for babies and can result in life threatening illness and hospitalizations.

What you can do is know the facts!!

The 3 major brands - Enfamil, Similac and Ge**er - all make very similar products that can be interchangable. They may taste a little different but babies will adjust with time. Some store brands such as Costco, Target and Walmart are also interchangable and are all very similar to the brand name versions.

Babies who require speciality formulas such as Alimentum or Nutramigen should use the resource tools on our website to find the formula specific for their baby's needs and contact the office if unable to find supply.

Infant Fomula Recall !!!

The FDA has issued a recall of some lots of Abott Nutritional products.

The products include

Similac, Alimentum, or EleCare powdered infant formulas with the below lot numbers listed:

the first two digits of the code are 22 through 37; and
the code on the container contains K8, SH or Z2; and
the expiration date is 4-1-2022 (APR 2022) or later.
