Markets have been moving quickly lately, prompting headlines that can uncertainty.
Instead of asking “What just happened in the market?”
Ask “What has actually changed for me?”
⚪ Has your timeline changed?
⚪ Have your goals shifted?
⚪ Has your plan meaningfully changed?
If the answer is no, reacting to every swing can pull you off track. Sometimes the most productive move is to stay grounded in the plan you’ve already built.

Now that tax season has wrapped up, a common question comes up with my clients: is your cash working for you? Many people have money sitting in checking or savings accounts earning very little. With today’s rates, there may be opportunities to earn more, without taking on more risk. High-yield savings accounts are one option to consider. They work similarly to traditional accounts but may offer higher interest, with some tradeoffs like limited withdrawals or slight delays in transfers. A quick review of cash positioning can be a low-risk way to improve your overall financial efficiency.

Have you felt prices creeping up? Whether you're filling up your tank at the pump, purchasing a plane ticket, or buying groceries, higher prices add up quickly. But not every signal we see day-to-day reflects a long-term change. Here's a question to consider: have the things that drive your financial plan changed?
In many cases, they haven’t. Staying focused on the long-term matters more than reacting to short-term changes.

Markets have pulled back recently, and with everything in the news, it’s understandable to have questions.
A few things to keep in mind:
🔹This type of pullback is normal
🔹Companies are still expected to grow earnings
🔹Prices are more reasonable than a few months ago
At the same time:
🔸Geopolitical uncertainty is still present
🔸Markets may react to headlines in the short term
🔸Oil prices and interest rates can add pressure
Short-term noise is normal. Long-term fundamentals still matter.

Have you already filed your taxes? If the result surprised you, it may be time to adjust your withholdings.
If you received a refund, consider using it to:
• Build savings
• Pay down high-interest debt
It’s also a good time to revisit your overall tax strategy and make sure everything is aligned going forward. I’m here if you want to discuss your tax strategy.
