Beautiful Roseau is the capital city of Dominica, a lush Caribbean island often called the “Nature Island of the Caribbean” because of its mountains, rainforests, waterfalls, and natural hot springs.

Roseau is home to approximately 15,000 people, while the island nation of Dominica has a population of about 66,000-70,000. Christianity is the faith of most Dominicans, with Roman Catholics making up the largest religious group, alongside many Protestant denominations.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church has a strong presence in Dominica, with approximately 7,000 members worshiping in about 30 churches and companies across the island. This means there is roughly one Adventist for every 10 people—one of the highest ratios in the Caribbean.

Let's remember our brothers and sisters in Dominica as they continue to share their faith with others on this beautiful tropical island.

When I lost my precious Bible 16 years ago in South Africa it was as if I had lost my best friend. I grieved, thinking I would never see it again. But God had extraordinary plans, greater than we could ever think or ask for. Here is the story of my lost (and found!) Bible:
