A coaching client ask me that. My heart melted because it's such a touching example of how so many people get stuck in prayer because they don't know the kind of prayer that feels joyful and natural to them.
So they needlessly flounder in their spiritual life.
After starting my prayer life at zero before my conversion (so I get it!) I focused on what works and what doesn't.
Now, people who work with me discover the way of prayer that works best for them in this season of their life.
It's so rewarding to see them find satisfaction in really knowing God's got their back and witness them getting the peace and clarity that only a close connection with God can give.

For people who feel like:
- Everyone has a better prayer life than I do.
- I just need some consistency.
- My mind in 49 places at once when I sit down to pray.
- I can't tell if He's even listening.
It doesn’t have to be that way. Let’s get you started on your path to confidence and connection.

Listen – I get it. You’re looking at someone who started at ZERO in her journey back to God. 👀
If you have any faith right now, you’re doing better than I was in the dark days before I discovered Christ and his Church – and developed a simple, authentically Catholic system to:
· connect with God
· keep focus in prayer, and
· stick with it for life!
Since my conversion, I’ve made it my business to find out what really connects us with the peace of God in prayer – and I’ve passed that on to over 10,000 Catholics who’ve called my teaching “relatable” and “transformative.”
Mary W., a grandmother, discovered how to listen to God instead of just, as she put it, “ticking off Catholic prayers.”
Michelle D., a social media strategist, felt like she was “speaking into the void” when she prayed. Now, she says, “I have great communication with him and more harmony at home.”
Don’t miss this chance to get practical ways to have more peace through a consistent, close connection with God. Register now for “Banish Anxiety: 5 Simple Steps to Lasting Peace and Purpose" at https://www.rosefolsom.com/training

It’s easy to forget our true identity — the person we are in God’s eyes. In case you need a reminder today, you were loved into being by God Almighty. And he wants to live with you forever in heaven.
If you could use some guidance to get closer to Him, let’s talk! I help Catholics find peace by guiding them to a closer connection with God and themselves. Book a call at TalkWithRose.net

Not everyone feels like St. Columban!
My client Michelle, a digital strategist and mother of two, came to me feeling like she was “speaking into the void” when she tried to pray.
Can you relate?
After I guided her through my simple 5-step “Success Over Stress” process, she now says, “I have great communication with him now.”
If you’re feeling like Michelle did, you’re not alone!
I’d love to chat to see if and how I can help you get the intimate connection with God you’ve been looking for.

What’s one thing you’re doing today to prepare for the next world?

Yesterday we asked how we can be both “nothing” before God and at the same time be so important to him that he died for us.
Hold on to your scapulars — it’s another “Catholic both/and!”
Because we didn’t create ourselves, we are “nothing” without God’s creative action at every moment.
At the same time, God has provided all the grace we need to be raised up to heaven with him forever — and to start living our life with him right now!
The attitude Thecla Merlo expresses is good to remember when we’re feeling too prideful about something we’ve achieved.
The equal reality is that we are created to share God’s very life — which is good to remember when life is bringing us down.
I help Catholics find that balance between humility and the glory of intimacy with God.
We need guidance.
If you could use a guide to help you experience God’s peace throughout your day, book a call with me at TalkWithRose(dot)net.
I’ll ask you questions you may never have asked yourself — to get you crystal clear on your next best step toward a prayer life that feels joyful and natural to you — and that will help you reclaim your peace for life.
Ven. Thecla Merlo, co-founder of the Daughters of St. Paul, struggled with self-will as much as we do!
She wrote this in her diary:
”Humility is truth: I am nothing; I am capable of nothing; I am worth nothing.
I am a miserable sinner, the most miserable on the face of the earth. What do I expect?
”The humble person enjoys peace and tranquility. She is content to trust in God.
”She sees the good in others and before everything else, she sees the Lord in her brothers and sisters.”
Question for you:
How does this attitude jibe with the fact that we are filled with glory as beloved and beautiful daughters of God?
