July 4 Pancake Breakfast 07/01/2023

Just a reminder, next Tuesday at 8:00am will be the White Oak Ward annual July 4th Pancake Breakfast! Please come celebrate our nation's independence and invite your friends/neighbors to join us. In case it wasn't clear, delicious food to include pancakes will be provided! We encourage you to bring you favorite pancake toppings (e.g., syrup, honey, etc.).

Additionally, we are still looking for volunteers for setup, cleanup, cooking, as well as outdoor propane grills/griddles. Please sign up via the Signup Genius Link below:

• Survivor resources for 20 families experiencing loss of a military loved one
• Bedding for 6 refugees
• Sporting equipment for 7 local boys and girls

• Set of Pots and pans for 4 homeless moms.

2022 First Presidency’s Christmas Devotional 12/05/2022

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints invites members, their families, and friends to participate in the First Presidency’s annual Christmas devotional broadcast on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. ET.

The program will include Christmas messages from General Authorities and General Officers of the Church. Music will be provided by The Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square.

In coordination with Colesville United Methodist Church, the White Oak Ward will be hosting a blood drive on Friday, November 11, 2022 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

**YOUTH 17 & OLDER ARE ELIGIBLE**

Register online at www.redcrossblood.org and enter Sponsor Code: "RandolphRdChurches" or call 1-800-733-2767 to schedule your life-saving donation!

Consider making a POWER RED donation if you are O-, O+, A- or B- blood type.

Please note some new changes:

The Red Cross will eliminate the deferral of donors who spent time in the UK, Ireland or France from 1980 to 2001, who were previously considered to have geographic risk of possible exposure to variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (vCJD) related to mad cow disease.
The Red Cross will also eliminate the deferral for individuals who received a blood transfusion from certain European countries from 1980 to present.

Seminary Kick-off, Tomorrow, August 28th, at 5:00 p.m. at the stake center

This is for all high school students and their parents. You will meet your teacher, find out which class is for you, and have an opportunity to coordinate rides with other families and ask questions. There may be some class changes this year relative to last year so please come even if you are not new to seminary.

Parents: Make sure your child is registered for seminary by visiting https://myseminary.churchofjesuschrist.org/. This is critical. Please do it today.
