Bell, President & CEO of 1st Choice Government Solutions received the prestigious “Advocate of the Year Award” from the MD/DC Minority Supplier Development Council, Friday night at the Annual Leaderships Awards Gala, for her unyielding and selfless dedication to issues affecting minority business.

Kenneth Clark, MD/DC MSDC President said, “Michelle has been a very strong advocate for MBEs in the board meetings. She has been to Annapolis on several occasions to speak before legislative committees and to other meetings to make sure the MBE voice is heard on issues affecting them. She launched a new Google group to make sure that more information flows to the MBEs about key issues”.

A champion for all minority business owners, Ms. Bell is currently serving her 2nd term as the MBE Input Committee Chairperson, where she serves as the voice of minority businesses conducting business in the District of Columbia and the state of Maryland.
