What a joy! Amor y Luz kicked off Brookdale Porchfest on Dover Court with our blend of classical and Latin American music — and the energy was magic. Kids twirled, neighbors danced, and the smell of fresh El Jefe wood-fired pizza floated through the air. Huge thanks to Abner Oakes for producing the event, and to On a Sensual Note for sharing the stage. What a beautiful community night in Brookdale, Maryland!

Listen and open your eyes. Enjoy all the beauty life has to offer. It certainly was beautiful to share our music at the 49th National Women's Music Festival in Madison, Wisconsin! This song, "Madre Tierra", was first made popular by the Puerto Rican artist Chayanne. The song explores the depth of human strength and our endless positive spirit. 🎶✨ What an incredible experience we had at the First Friday Community Sing Along in October, sponsored by Carpe Diem Arts! It was truly beautiful to lift our voices together with the Carpe Diem Community as we sang the Cumbia classic "Aguacero de Mayo" by Toto La Momposina and the Bomba classic "Cuidame a Belen" by Paracumbe. A special highlight was the phenomenal performance by the amazing Bulgarian choir Orfeia! 🎤🌟 Grateful for these moments of music and community connection at the Church of the Ascension in Silver Spring, MD!

In a world that always needs more love and light, it was pure joy to watch women dancing freely to our take on bolero, reggaeton, Latin pop, and beyond. 💃🏽

Huge thanks to the amazing NWMF production team who made it all possible. Thank you to the wonderful interpreter Isis Dixon and a special gratitude to Linda Wilson for inviting us and making us feel so welcome at NWMF. We’re still glowing! 🌈🎶
