Exquisitely delighted yesterday evening to have been given one of the most perfectly pitched and exclusive Christmas gifts I’ve ever received: a set of three bottles of CIA barbecue sauce. Many thanks to the sweet friend who gifted it to us— if you didn’t hear my squeal when Greg showed them to me you must have been in a secret bunker somewhere. 😆😉

The CIA gift shop is one of the most fun little apocryphal locations in DC— and only accessible to CIA staff, certain visitors, and once a year, staff family members. To say that I’d never thought I’d ever taste these treats is a profound understatement, and I am so. excited.
