🇸🇻 TPS EL SALVADOR UPDATE — September 10, 2026

USCIS has announced that, while DHS prepares an official announcement, Salvadoran TPS beneficiaries currently retain TPS protection and work authorization.

⚠️ Important: This is not yet a formal extension or final decision regarding TPS for El Salvador. Guidance also remains unclear concerning updated expiration dates and how employers should document continued employment authorization on Form I-9.

Continue monitoring USCIS and the Federal Register for official instructions.
