Do you want leaves? Like a chip drop, but for leaves! Leaves are great for mulching, starting new plant beds, composting, or just helping provide a home for the critters that call the leaves home. I personally haven’t bought mulch in 3-4 years, I just ask people if I can have their leaves and use leaves.
This is a call for volunteers! If you want leaves just send us a message, or comment and I’ll message you. It is completely free to have us drop off leaves and you can indicate the amount you’d be willing to take.
Bee Safe Mosquito Control is offering a new leaf removal service this Fall. For those not familiar, we are not a typical mosquito control company - we don’t spray at all and prioritize not harming other insects. You may have heard of “Leave the Leaves” - but that can be tough to do if you have mature trees and want to maintain usable sections of lawn for kids or pets.
So we’re offering to remove the leaves, and instead of putting them on a truck to be compacted or leaving them in bags all winter or taking them to a commercial composting facility, we’re bringing them to someone that wants them, and giving the insects that call them home over the winter a fighting chance to survive.
