Although it's cloudy & π¨οΈ today, ETS Rhoers decided to spread a little sunshine by donating Little Libraries to local schools in Silver Spring, MD.

We went to Main Event - Columbia and bowled, played some arcade games and some pool.

Our last service project of the Rhoer year was with Wider Circle.
We created 10 Market bags filled with household items for members of the community who need an extra hand.

Join the Movement. Wear Denim. Raise Awareness.
On this Denim Day, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. continues its legacy of advocacy by using our voices to support survivors and challenge the harmful myths surrounding sexual violence.
Why Denim?οΏ½The campaign began after a 1999 Italian Supreme Court ruling overturned a r**e conviction because the victim was wearing tight jeans. The justices claimed that because the jeans were so tight, the victim must have helped remove themβimplying consent. The next day, women in the Italian Parliament wore jeans in protest, and a movement was born.
Since then, Denim Day has become a powerful annual tradition where people wear jeans to stand in solidarity with survivors and challenge victim-blaming attitudes.
We Rock our denim today!

On May 2, our Rhoer Brunch took place at Long Branch Library at 11:30am-1:00pm. Our guest presenter was Dr. Detrice Wallace who taught us etiquette on daily facial & nail care.
Mrs. Kiana & Dr. Detrice Wallace even gave some easy makeup tips for a natural look for us teens.

Even though she's finally DONE as she told us, we'll definitely miss having Ms. Nikki being NER Grammateus.
She always looked out for us Rhoers and made sure our gifts were on point & helped check on all our π΅ stuff! She even mentored us at conferences and meetings with her workshops.
Locally even though she was super busy, she came to community service at Shepherd's Table holding down the β station and hangout with us to get to know us and be there for us as a big sister. She even gave up her birthday weekend to support us at our scholarship gala.
Thank you for being the Rhoers' NER Grammateus and OUR Big Sister πππ¦
