During the Champion Ranch MGA Invitational in June, golfer Tye Grissom made an unforgettable hole-in-one and won a brand-new 14-foot trailer sponsored by Silsbee Motor Company.

But the real story began with what Tye chose to do next.

In an incredible act of generosity, Tye donated the trailer to be raffled, with all proceeds benefiting local golfer Steve Martin and his family, as Steve battles cancer.

With the support of Champion Ranch MGA members, fellow golfers and our wonderful community, raffle tickets were sold throughout the summer. The winning ticket was drawn yesterday following the Heat Stroke Tournament.

Congratulations to Heath Donalson of Silsbee, the winner of the brand-new trailer!

More importantly, thanks to everyone who supported this effort, we were able to raise more than $10,000 for Steve and his family. โค๏ธ

We extend a heartfelt thank-you to every person who purchased a raffle ticket. A very special thank-you goes to Tye Grissom for his selfless generosity and to Alan Sanford and Silsbee Motor Company for helping make all of this possible.

One act of kindness brought an entire community together and made a tremendous difference for a family in need.

All glory be to God! ๐Ÿ™

Course is closed today, as we received over 16 inches of rain. There is a high probability course will be closed tomorrow as well.

As of this post, club house / bar is also closed due to no power. Although we did have power early this morning, it went out about an hour ago and has not come back on.

Thanks! - DB
