Summer vacation got you feeling a little crabby? Want a fun activity for the kids? May we recommend CRAB CITY ISLAND!!! Yes, we made up the name to sound more exciting than a sandbar. These islands pop up when the tide is low right next to Turtle Beach Resort revealing a whole underwater world to explore. We found hermit crabs, larger crabs?! and horseshoe crabs on a recent visit along with lots of cool seaweed and tiny fish. You can kayak over from our property in less than one minute and explore and swim for hours 🥳🦀

MAJOR catch!!! We heard that the rare Spiked Tie-dye Tarpon was seen in the bay since Midnight Pass opened, but we didn’t expect our youngest team member to catch one!!! I guess it’s fish for dinner tonight!
