Volunteers step into summer with fun run and cleanup | Your Observer Volunteers with the Manasota Track Club picked up an estimated 75 pounds of trash near Longboat Key Little Beach at their summer cleanup.

What a great evening at the Ed Wolfe Memorial Wall Run! 🏃‍♂️💙

The Wolfe Pack came out in full force tonight to celebrate and remember our dear friend, Ed Wolfe. Seeing so many runners wearing their Wolfe Pack shirts and sharing miles together was a wonderful tribute to someone who meant so much to our running community. Ed would have been smiling from ear to ear.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers who helped make this event a success. From setup to registration, water support, and everything in between, your time and dedication made the evening possible.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to honor Ed’s legacy of friendship, community, and running. ❤️

A huge thank you to our 12 amazing volunteers who came out this morning to help keep our community beautiful. Together, we collected more than 75 pounds of trash along our adopted stretch of Gulf of Mexico Drive on Longboat Key!

What a beautiful morning and a great way to start the weekend—giving back, enjoying time with fellow runners, and making a positive impact on one of our favorite local running routes.

👏 Special thanks to MTC Board Member Rob Loeffler, who coordinates this quarterly event and helped make today’s cleanup another success.
