March Base Box!

I have a tough time winding down at the end of the night and getting to sleep. I added these two products to my bedtime ritual and have slept like a baby ever since. I like to take a nice relaxing hot shower before bed and the melatonin sugar scrub prepped my senses to slip into relaxation mode as soon as I opened the jar. Once I got out of the shower I covered myself in the moisturizing melatonin body lotion and could already feel myself becoming ready for sleep. The minute my head hit the pillow I was off to dream land and I woke up with baby soft skin! Big fan!

I have never fallen more in love with a hairbrush as fast as I did with the new brushes that and sent over! I thought I had been using a good wet brush to detangle my curls before wash day but wow was I wrong! This brush has saved my life! No pain when I brush through large snarls or depression matting and I’m seeing way less breakage as well. It has cut my hair care time in half and I love how big the paddle is on the big boy so I can get all my hair brushed in half the time. The smaller one is perfect for travel and I’m loving the scalp massager for distributing conditioner and hair masks through my hair in the shower. Plus it’s great for stimulating new growth! I’m never going back!

I am such a huge fan and they have done it again! This moisturizer so beautiful! I love how luxurious the packaging feels and how much you get for the price. The product itself is silky smooth and applies like a dream. The mild rose fragrance is welcome and not overwhelming. The moisturizer absorbs into the skin beautifully without leaving any sticky or greasy residue but still keeps my skin dewy and moisturized all day. This is the perfect moisturizer for before makeup!

you did it again! As most of you know, I’ve been on a journey to overhaul all of my personal care items and move to a clean ingredient list and as fragrance free in my products as I can be. In terms of skincare, it’s been so hard to find corrective skincare that isn’t full of scary ingredients and nondescript fragrances. But goop] has done it again! This dark spot exfoliating sleep milk is a game changer! This has left my dry, sensitive skin feeling nourished, exfoliated, hydrated and most of all healthy when I wake up in the morning! Gone are the days of my crusty dusty face. And best of all, I can trust that this won’t harm my skin or body because it’s formulated with so many wonderful clean ingredients! It does smell a tad but medicinal but I’d rather it smell of that then fake lavender! I’m one happy camper! Thank you and goop]

Late posting my August since life kind of got away from me last month while starting a new job and traveling a couple times. I’m so excited to have some more brushes! They’re some of my faves!

I always pride myself on honest reviews and sometimes that means that I personally dislike a product and need to tell you why. I want to start this off by saying that I was genuinely excited to try this product and I typically love cream cheek and lip products. I also really have come to love Smashbox over the years but this product was a miss for me.

Firstly, when I think of Smashbox I think of high end makeup. The component of this product felt a little cheap and generic and the applicator made blush application a little awkward. However, I love the formula as a blush. It’s really nice and buildable and creates a nice natural blush look. But on the flip side, as a lip color, it was very drying. Maybe it was the shade I was sent but it really wasn’t terribly flattering on my lips. Overall I’d say it’s a good blush but not a great lip product and I wish the packaging was a little bit more luxe feeling. Have you tried this for yourself yet? What did you think?
