This morning we were treated the buttery sounds of the UW trombone quartet.
Then in the afternoon we officially welcomed our 2026-27 drum major team.

Thanks to a generous grant from the SC Boosters and some savings from past mattress sale fundraisers, we were able to get a new Adams 4.3 octave marimba. The rosewood bars are beautiful and they sound great! 💚🎶💛

Parade performance this afternoon in Disneyland by the Highlander Marching Band! 💚🎶💛

Some pics of Jazz Band 1 from the annual Arts Assembly at SC (compliments of Ms. Phillips). The jazz band got things off to a swingin’ start and our All-State musicians were recognized. 💚🎶💛

Jazz Band 1 competed at the annual jazz festival at Newport HS in Bellevue on Saturday. They earned a spot in the finals competition based on their scores from prelims. Congratulations, Scots! 💚🎶💛
