Did you know that the YMCA has a mobile van called Y on the Fly that brings fun activities and outdoor experiences to you? During our Be Mighty meal service, our patrons enjoyed yard games, a bicycle that makes healthy smoothies 👀, and free new books!

We hope to see everyone at 10:30 am for this event !

Thank you to everyone who came to our Fresh Dirt Story Time theme! We read I Love Bugs! By Philemon Sturges and A Good Place by Lucy Cousins. They also enjoyed guessing what bug was under a rug felt board.

Look out for Sanders’ new adult book club! Nesting Books will be starting on Wednesday July 8th, from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. We’ll be discussing One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Copies are available for checkout with your library card at the Sanders circulation desk.

Nesting Books will meet on the 2nd Wednesday each month and is open to everyone 18 years and older.

Be sure to join us next Thursday June 18 from 10:30-12:30 pm for this special event. Bicycle powered smoothies , free books and so much more!

We would like to thank City of Sherwood Arkansas - Government- partnership with us for the third Touch-a-Truck event at Summer at CALS was greatly appreciated. Representatives from the fire and police departments, animal control, SWAT, and sanitation department engaged with guests, educating them on the intricacies of their positions. New in Food - Jun. 2026 — a staff-created list from Central Arkansas Library System cookbooks, food memoirs, lifestyle, farming, & more!

Take a break from the summer heat, drink some mocktails, and learn about the upcoming Juneteenth holiday. We’ll be focusing on classic red drinks in celebration together. Guest speaker, Brian Rodgers, will join us from Mosaic Templars. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available while supplies last.

Meet up with us on Saturday, June 13th from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
