A huge shoutout to Hagerman's Outdoor Crew volunteers for the countless hours they dedicate to maintaining refuge equipment, mowing trails, and keeping the grounds looking their best. Much of what visitors enjoy every day is made possible by the hard work happening behind the scenes.

Whether you have a few hours a month or several days a week, there are volunteer opportunities for nearly every skill level, interest, and ability. From habitat restoration and trail maintenance to education, visitor services, photography, and special events, there's a place for everyone to contribute.

Volunteering at Hagerman is about being part of something bigger than ourselves—helping protect wildlife, preserve natural spaces, and ensure future generations can experience the beauty of the refuge.
