Epic morning on Texoma!! We started out throwing topwaters and just happened to land on em! The big overs were blasting our baits and we got our limit of them pretty fast. We released several more and then moved on to find some smaller fish to keep. I made a move and we got on a deep school of fish and dropped haymaker and prune picker slabs in them to get them to bite. It was really good action but when it was over it was over! Today was one of the best days I’ve had on the water in a good long while. Everything just worked today!

Last few days fishing has been pretty good on ole Texoma I fished Thursday Friday on a group trip for Charlie over at cedar mills marina and helped Striper express this morning. Thanks guys for the work!
We caught fish on topwater slabs and even a few on live bait.

Good morning on the big pond today. We started out with topwater and caught a few fish but with all the boat traffic they were kind of difficult to catch so we made a move and dropped some slabs and caught a few more then the fish we were on just clammed up and wouldn’t bite so we tried live bait for a bit but mostly got catfish bites. Slabs and topwater it is until some colder weather arrives!

It’s always cool to see the monarchs when they are migrating across the lake!

Monarch butterflies are on the move! 🦋 Their fall migration takes them south across North America, with many traveling hundreds or even thousands of miles to reach wintering grounds in Mexico and California.

Had a group trip yesterday and the fish were biting! We started out throwing topwaters and it just wasn’t working that great but I decided to drop a slab and it was game on so we switched over and went to work!! Ended up with a nice box of fish for the fry that they done afterwards!

Not bad for a quick solo meat run! All fish caught on topwater and slabs today. Labor Day is over with and the lake traffic is going to start slowing down but the fishing is just going to get better. I have days available call or text 903-815-3855 to get on the books!
