YOU JUST WANT TO BE HAPPY!

Are your expectations of wanting God to make you “happy” clouding your ability to see the life-changing work He is actually doing?

If you are an Adult Childhood Trauma Survivor, like I am, chances are your relentless first waking thoughts focus on:

~ You want to feel loved & approved of in the Lord’s sight

~ You just want to feel reasonably “happy”

I was in bo***ge, yes, bo***ge ... to those thoughts for 50 years!

I discovered freedom when I stopped frantically searching for happiness and began to seek the Lord’s face. I also began wisely investing my time.

Christ wants to give you peace.

Peace far exceeds “happiness”, my friend,“ but it takes time!

~ ~ ~ ~

How do you invest time, you ask?

Quiet time - just you and the Lord.

Stop running from the anxiety. Turn and face it head-on.

Trust me, Christ has the answers.

But we must be quiet long enough to let Him speak to you.

I know . . .

Taking time is the last thing an Adult Childhood Trauma Survivor wants to hear! We’ve been miserable for so long and just want relief, and now here I am asking you to take “more time.”

I wouldn’t ask you to do something had I not already experienced it for myself, my friend.

Time will come and go regardless of how you spend it.

Let’s stop letting another day pass by and invest our time wisely. Above all, let’s keep it simple.
