This week in our Welcome Home series, we talked about what it means to pull up a chair and make room for others.

Through Genesis 18:1–8, we were reminded that hospitality isn’t just about opening our doors, it’s about opening our hearts and helping others know they belong.

As we head into a new week, may we keep looking for ways to make room, welcome well, and recognize God in the people we meet. ❤️

What does it look like to make room for someone?

This Sunday, Rev. Denise continues our Welcome Home series with Genesis 18:1–8. It's the story of Abraham noticing, welcoming, and making room for unexpected guests.

Sometimes hospitality looks like a grand gesture. Sometimes it looks like something much simpler:

Pull up a chair. There’s room for you here. Please join us this Sunday as we worship, learn, and make room for one another.

To notifications.
To deadlines.
To other people.
To the noise around us.

But in Isaiah 55, God says, “Listen.”

Maybe coming home to God sometimes looks less like doing more and more like slowing down long enough to hear Him.

Take a few quiet minutes today.

Be still. Listen. Let God remind you that you are already invited home.
