Let's talk about Carolee 🩵

After a career living and working all over the world with the U. S. Foreign Service, Carolee returned home to Texas. In retirement, she has continued her passion of rescuing and fostering dogs—cats too! She is currently a dedicated volunteer with Rest Stop Rescue and Transport here in Sherman for almost 3 years.

Carolee has been a wonderful partner alongside Rest Stop Rescue, helping pull dogs from other rescues and shelters and providing them with a safe place to land.

By housing these dogs with us, Carolee has aided every dog that comes through with time, patience, and support they need to rehabilitate and learn how to socialize with both people and other dogs.

We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, compassion, and the difference she continues to make in the lives of so many deserving dogs.
