Hey yβall! Middle Ground is going through some revamping but did you know that this month celebrates 1 year since the first event!!! To celebrate, we had to bring back the original logo π₯Ήπ€
As most of you know, currently Middle Ground has been βs baby. She initiated this platform as a place to host events and projects for local young adults. But this year, there is so much more in store for Middle Ground and it wouldnβt be possible without YOUR help! π«ΆπΌ
In case you missed it in our stories, we are looking for a small committee of local young adults who are committed to helping plan, coordinate, and execute future events and projects! It costs nothing to be a committee member, all you need is a passion for encouraging engagement and creating community for young adults. π₯°
For more information, click our stories to submit your email and we will be in contact with you soon! Thank yβall for the best first year ever. π₯ππ€©

See yβall soon β to pray for Allen, Texas and the future of our country. π€
Itβs unsettling that this is the second prayer we will be hosting specifically to honor the victims and communities impacted by another shooting. But we will do our best to continue cultivating a sense of unity in a time of fear and uncertainty surrounding our nations mental health and public safety.
Tuesday. 5/16. 7:30 am. We will pray. ππΌππΎππ½ππΏ
For Allen β
For Daniela.
For Sofia.
For Cindy.
For Kyu.
For James.
For Christian.
For Aishwarya.
For Elio.
We will pray for their families and friends.
We will pray for loved ones and surviving victims.
We will pray for first responders and emergency personnel who give their lives every day to protect our nation.
We will pray For America.
For Texas.
For Sherman & for Grayson County.
For protection over our local schools and churches.
For protection over Sherman Town Center and other public areas.
For comfort in our fear.
For peace in our restlessness.
For unity in our division.
For justice.
For legislation and law enforcement β local, state, and national β as they navigate next steps due to this cyclical tragedy.
And for our community β
To come together, take initiative, and seek tangible ways to improve our confidence and our safety.
This will be a casual, come-and-go setting for the community to join together in conversation to move forward towards a smarter, healthier, and safer future. π€

ICYMI: here are some of the sleeves that were created by Rise Academy: TX and Texoma Christian School for The White Rabbit Coffee House! Spreading love, joy, and kindness one cup of coffee at a time π«ΆπΌ

In a world where you can be anything β be kind π«ΆπΌ
Thereβs scientific evidence that proves how showing kindness, receiving kindness, and observing kindness positively impacts our chemical makeup! When we show and receive or even witness kindness around us, it releases dopamine and increases levels of oxytocin β the πloveπ chemical. Unlike immediate gratification fixes, this is a type of dopamine that is extended over longer periods of time β improving our mood, perspective, mental health and even physical health. The more kindness in the world, the longer we can live joyful lives π€
Knowing this, we wanted to do our part in even the smallest way of promoting this kindness cycle in our community.
We have excitedly partnered with Rise Academy: TX and Texoma Christian School by inviting local students to participate in creating positive, encouraging messages and drawings on blank coffee sleeves. These sleeves will be joyfully served to our community with your favorite drinks at The White Rabbit Coffee House THIS WEEKEND, starting TOMORROW (Friday, April 28th*) π€©
So if you think about it, stop by tomorrow for your daily dose of oxytocin and local coffee β and be a part of continuing to build a Middle Ground that encourages UNITY in COMMUNITY through random acts of kindness. π€
Share your photos of the sleeve you receive and tag us to be shared on our story!!! Let the KINDNESS, LOVE and JOY begin π
