Java Moon
Located in the heart of downtown Sheridan we offer high quality coffee, espresso and tea. We also offer breakfast, lunch, and a full bakery.
One of our favorite things about owning a coffee shop is getting a front-row seat to the moments that bring people together.
This weekend, that’s the Dead Swede.
Before the sun comes up, riders gather with nervous energy, checking gear, filling water bottles, and getting ready for the miles ahead. By the end of the day, they’ll have stories about steep climbs, gravel roads, incredible views, and the satisfaction that comes from doing something hard.
Events like this remind us how lucky we are to live in a place people travel from all over the country to experience.
And here in downtown Sheridan, we get to watch it unfold. Riders stop in for one last cup of coffee before the start. Families gather to cheer them on. Visitors spend the day exploring our downtown shops, restaurants, and businesses. For a weekend, our little corner of Sheridan gets to welcome people from all over.
If you’re in town for the ride, we’re here and ready for you. Fresh coffee, handcrafted espresso drinks, breakfast burritos, scratch-made muffins and scones, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and a comfortable place to relax before or after the race.
Whether you’re riding, volunteering, supporting a rider, or simply enjoying a beautiful Wyoming weekend, we’re glad you’re here.
Good luck to every rider today. We can’t wait to hear your stories when the miles are done.

Start your week with something a little different.
If you haven’t tried our Collagen Crush Latte yet, this might be the week.
Made with premium collagen, organic cacao, vanilla bean, lion’s mane, ashwagandha, and espresso, it delivers 20g of protein in a rich, creamy latte that tastes every bit as good as it sounds.
Smooth. Chocolatey. Satisfying.
It’s the kind of drink that fits right into a busy Monday morning—whether you’re heading to work, meeting a friend downtown, or grabbing a quiet moment before the week gets rolling.
Available hot or iced at Java Moon.
Stop in and give it a try this week.
Not every sugar cookie is made by hand anymore.
Ours still are.
Every cookie you see in our case is frosted, detailed, and hand piped right here in our bakery — one cookie at a time.
The kind of work that takes patience, steady hands, creativity, and people who genuinely care about what they’re making.
And honestly… we think people can taste the difference.
These cookies have become part of birthday parties, coffee dates, celebrations, downtown walks, and little everyday moments that needed something sweet.
Thanks for continuing to support handmade things, local bakeries, and the people behind them.
Come see us downtown at Java Moon.

You can feel the difference when a place is local.
The coffee tastes more personal.
The conversations last a little longer.
The people behind the counter know your name.
Every order at Java Moon supports local jobs, local families, local students, and a team that genuinely cares about this community.
Whether you order ahead on the app, grab breakfast to go, or stay awhile downtown… thank you for choosing local over corporate.
Sheridan, you’ve helped us build something really special.

This weekend feels a little emotional around here.
Two of our Java Moon girls are graduating.
And if you’ve been through our drive-thru or caught the crew in the middle of a busy morning rush, chances are you’ve been served by Ruby or Hayden.
Ruby said some of her favorite parts of working were the laughs and conversations shared during busy shifts. They made even the busiest mornings fun. Hayden loved the friendships she built here and the way everyone always worked together to make the shop feel welcoming and fun.
And honestly… that says a lot about what matters most to us too.
Coffee shops are about coffee, sure. But they’re also about people. The conversations. The coworkers who become family. The regulars you learn by name. The little moments during busy mornings that somehow become the things you remember most.
Ruby is heading off to nursing school, where we know her caring personality and ability to connect with people will make such a difference. Hayden is pursuing radiology, and we have no doubt her hardworking attitude and steady presence will take her far in the medical field.
Now they’re heading into their next chapter — nursing school and radiology — and we honestly couldn’t be more proud.
One of the best parts of being locally owned is getting a front row seat to moments like this. You hire teenagers… and before you know it, they’re graduating and chasing big dreams.
Congratulations Hayden & Ruby. Thank you for being part of our story. We can’t wait to see where yours goes next. 🎓
There’s something special about sitting in a coffee shop and discovering the work of a local artist.
This month at Java Moon, we’re featuring the photography of Diane Marsden — a collection inspired by Wyoming landscapes, travel, nature, and the quiet beauty found in everyday moments.
We love making space for local artists, local stories, and the kind of work that makes people slow down for a minute and really look around.
Next time you stop into downtown Java Moon, take a few extra moments to enjoy Diane’s work hanging throughout the café.
Brewing more than coffee… we’re building community.
Need your fix?
Maybe it’s coffee.
Maybe it’s a warm cinnamon roll.
Maybe it’s a scratch-made quiche and a quiet moment before the day gets busy.
Whatever your version looks like… we’ve got something waiting for you downtown at Java Moon.
Fresh baked every morning. Made with care. Served by people who are glad you’re here.
