Poverty Ridge Waterfowlers

Hard to put into words of how missed you will be. If there was waterfowl to be hunted you could find Tony in his corner of the blind telling old hunting tales, cooking breakfast, or on occasion unloading someone’s gun. We know you will be with us every hunt and there will never be a shortage of Hempy stories.

Visitation is Thursday, Jan 12th at 5-7 PM
Funeral is Friday, Jan 13th at 10:30 AM
both are at the Wood River Catholic Church

Christmas break has been hit and miss but had a few mallards who wanted to play today. The boys put a hurting on the French toast/pancakes and the birds.

I wouldn’t miss tomorrow for anything!

Successful first weekend for the crew. Could definitely use some more water and birds but Ripp figured out what a teal was and the Cinnabon’s didn’t stand a chance. No fruit tray but some people are living on a fixed income.

2022-2023 season will be soon upon us. We have a lot to catch everyone up on this year.

-Ripp is our new addition to the blind and has some big shoes to fill this season

- Brandon's underwater welding skills were used again in the offseason to fix the holes the Hall brothers put in the blind

- We are still waiting for the wire the Stewart boys promised they would bring down two years ago

-***IMPORTANT*** Dickie promised us Cinnabon's for opening day so we are gonna need and headcount and list of food allergies anyone has. Looking forward to seeing everyone this season!

Tony found something in the pond while prepping for snow geese. Anyone who would like to claim the prize please submit you name, address, and credit card number, exp. date and security code and we will enter you into the drawing!

Celebrity appearance at Poverty Ridge over the weekend! Even had to pull Tony and put Dano in charge.
