As we close out 2021, we are saddened to share that we have completed our last adoption for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, we have lost the building that we are operating out of, and cannot accept any new animals into the rescue. We will keep the food pantry going for as long as possible as we clean out the building. If we find a new space, we will try to re-open in the future.
It has been an honor to have been a part of hundreds of adoptions over the past 5 years. The generosity of our community has amazed us, and together we have achieved so much. Being able to keep Roo’s name and memory alive for many years has been a blessing and something we couldn’t be more thankful for.
Give your fur babies a hug for us tonight!
Love, Jackie and Julie

Today is and we’d be honored if you’d consider donating to Roo’s! We rely on donations to help us rescue animals in need, and keep our food pantry stocked for those in need. If you’re not comfortable donating money, we can always use pet food for the pantry!

Oh please! Someone step up for this lovely girl! She may have diabetes but cats don't take a lot of insulin so the cost won't be a big deal! And speaking from vast experience with diabetic dogs, giving the shots is easy as can be. Please don't let her spend the rest of her life in a cage!!!! 🙁 She has waited nearly FOREVER!!
💗 SENIOR ALERT!! 💗
Meet Trouble.... but don't worry, she's anything but! 😆 AND SHE IS SOOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!
TROUBLE is a long haired beauty and is 10 years old. She is spayed, vaccinated and negative for leukemia and FIV.
Trouble was left at the shelter full of mats, lethargic with muscle wasting. After she was vetted and got her a spa day, we found out she was diabetic, SO She needs a home where someone can give her insulin shots (no big deal) and feed her special diabetic cat food. But Trouble has a medical sponsor so her food and insulin are covered the first year of adoption, which is awesome! 😊
She loves attention, likes other cats and literally purrs when you look at her - she’s come a long way in just a few short weeks but needs a home to decompress and be loved!
If you might be interested in adopting this sweet girl, please contact the shelter by emailing [email protected] and she can answer any and all questions.

Our food pantry is running low on both cat and dog dry food, as well as cat wet food. If you’re able to grab a bag to donate when you’re at the grocery or pet store, we’d be very appreciative! You can drop off donations any time at our rescue by placing them in or near the the food pantry cabinet. Thanks!!
