Safe Lane Driving School is licensed by the State of North Carolina, Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV). We provide first class instruction to beginning drivers starting at the age of 14 1/2 years old. We offer:

We had a stellar experience from start to finish with Safe Lane...and I feel like we made a friend!
My teens took the Refresher Course recently and were so happy with their experiences, too. They were instantly put at ease and had fun while driving with Mr. Phil. He gave them gentle instruction and constant encouragement which I think was key to their confidence in going for the road test. They also did their road test with Safe Lane, which made the experience much more pleasant than the DMV.
Needless to say, we will be back with our younger teens for the bulk of their driver's ed training and driving instruction, as well as their road tests. And I will refer anyone and everyone to them for any kind of driving instruction.
All I can say is I couldn't be happier. I only wish I had more kids to take his lessons for longer!

Safe Lane Driving School can give the road test to adults and teens. Appointments are available, give us a call.
NCDMV expands road test options for adults Adults will now be able to take the road test for their first Class C driver’s license at one of at least 65 approved private driving schools across North Carolina.
