RentSource is SCAM

RentSource is a scam company, they have their own page on Facebook and they use Craigslist to get their victims, Please check out News 4 investation video.

If you are a Craigslist user who lives in St. Louis, MO, Kansas City, MO or Wichita, KS and seeking apartments and housing, you might as well find cheap and great deal advertisements under different names. For example,
*Cheap apartment for immediate move in,
*No credit needed,
*Pet friendly and family housing etc. and hundreds more ads. You might be surprise that these ads require you to call a

phone number that will provide you what are you looking for for a fee of $90, they are called RentSource but they will never tell you their true name because it's reputation connected to scam and fake and I was one of their victim. Their agents will pretend as if they are apartments' owner and they will try to drag you to their store or most likely ask you to pay the fee over the phone so you dont see their identity . If you pay the fee of $90, the agent will give you a piece of paper that has apartments name and their phone number also they will be all marked as available, if you try to call these apartments they will tell you they are not available, the search itself is scam and is copying the one in Craigslist. There is no refund for you, they will tell you they would, but in fact I made 6 attempt for refund, they are so cheap that they would ask you to send them a mail with return address, once you do, they will send you back a note to teach you how to use their fake search engine. I have demanded my refund after the second day, it didnt take much to figure out it was scam, they never return my phone call, email or mail me back my money. For more details, find the pictures I made to see RentSource Ads, they are a lot and updated everyday on Craigslist, this is where they mostly get their victims. My advice for you, if you are trying to get an apartments, you must physically go to see these apartments and meet with their lease office, do not let a scam, fake store on the street, steal your money and do nothing for you. Please share this page or create your own page to help protect people. I made a warning posts on Craigslist in the three cities that Rentsource had activities on, I received 12 messages on the first 5 days by people who were scammed and upset. DO NOT be a victim.

I am so surprised that they still get people, I feel so sad for those who got scammed by them. As I mentioned below BE EXTRMELEY careful when you deal with Crag lists offers for apartments.... In case you don't know 70% of Craglists offers are scamed and false promises in general anyway, however this little scam company is all over the crag lists in the cities I mentioned.

Remember: Do Not allow anyone to fool you and ask you for money so they can get u an apartment, You either go to the lease office or find an actual owner!

This is an update, RentSource is still active in Craglists. Highly highly recommended, do not trust the advertisements you read about how (Friendly, no credit, pet ok, cheap...etc) YOU MUST visit the site that was advertised from the real owner or landlord. Do not let RentSource Scam you, they will force you to pay them first, then they will handle you a piece of paper that has exactly the same engine from Craglists.

Be warned! Craigslist is full of Scam, fake, lies and even killers. There have been reports the last 3 months of 4 people got rapped and killed. I personally know a friend of my friend who tried to sell his car over Craigslist, once he found the buyer and moved the car ownership to the other person's name, he came after him to get his money back by killing him! BE WARNED

SCAM Warning: For those who use Craigslist to look for apartments, if you are in Saint Louis, MO or Kansas City, MO or Wichita, KS.

Do not trust the apartments titles by RentSource they are hundreds of them in Craigslist under hidden name (Look at the picture I attached)

If you are seeking an apartment to move in, you need to make sure that you go to the lease office of those apartments or you actually going to see the apartment physically, Do not call a cheep scam store that is in street claiming they will get you an apartment for $90.

The ads in the picture was made by RentSource the scam company.

RentSource is a scam company that has two offices in Kansas city, MO, two offices in Saint Louis, MO and one in Wichita, KS.

The company advertise itself from Craigslist and other sources, they show pictures of random apartments with a great deals, once you click on it, you will be directed to their website http://www.rentsourceinc.com/index2.php

Once you call their agents, they will tell you lies trying to pull you to their office to pay a fee for $90, after that they will handle you a piece of paper that is taken from Craigslist and other search website, the paper is totally scam, all the apartments will be marked as available when in fact they are not. Do not expect a refund, I have struggled with this company, they asked me to mail them an enveloped with a returning address, after I have done that 3 times, everytime I get a trashy papers explaining how to use their scam search engine. So basically, they are so cheap and thieves that they wont bother mailing you, they will let you pay for that mail and eventually no refund for you.

My job is to warn as much people as possible, some people barely can make $90 and that scam company has stolen their money. Beware when you use Craigslist, they pretend as if they own these apartments.
