I’m still here! I’m still baking! But I’m also working outside the kitchen, raising two kids, entertaining my husband with my salty antics, and trying to keep my sanity through it all. That said, I’m still making cookies, too!

School is out and we’re daydreaming about pastel beach towns, palm trees, sweet tea on the porch, and all the summer adventures ahead.
The weather might still be catching up, but our minds are fully in vacation mode over here.

Here’s to late nights, big dreams, and the next chapter officially loading. Congrats to the class of 2026!

Teacher Appreciation Month always feels a little extra meaningful around here.
To the educators who pour their hearts into shaping, encouraging, teaching, guiding, and loving on our kids day after day, thank you. The impact you make reaches far beyond the classroom walls, and our family is especially grateful for the incredible teachers who have helped influence our children’s lives in such positive ways. You are seen, valued, and deeply appreciated.

If you see me out and about covered in flour and icing, no you didn’t. Between graduations, baby showers, and First Communions, I’m running on buttercream and ice cold Alanis at this point.

But honestly? I’m not mad about it, especially when I get to play with a baby shower set that leans a little unexpected. Loving this non-traditional, KU-inspired color moment… proof that baby doesn’t always have to mean pastels and school colors don’t have to be so bold.

I’ve got my money on two Mint Juleps and one exciting race today. Any Derby watchers out there?

Hot take: the cookie platter might be the most underrated option in my lineup. If you love a standout centerpiece for your dessert table, don’t sleep on these.
