I've made it my purpose to move and motivate with intention, but it wasn't until I truly understood the psychology and mental programming that needed undoing that I was able to shatter all of my limiting beliefs and transform my mind, body, and spirit!
Everyone is talking about peptides, but what are they really?
Think back to BCAAs...
A single amino acid is like one monkey from a Barrel of Monkeys. đ”
When you connect a few monkeys together, you have a small chain. That's essentially what a peptide isâa short chain of amino acids.
Connect hundreds or thousands together, and you get a protein.
So while proteins and peptides are made from the same building blocks, they're not the same thing. Peptides are much smaller and often act like messengers, helping different parts of your body communicate.
Depending on the peptide, those messages may involve:
â
Appetite and blood sugar regulation
â
Recovery and tissue repair
â
Growth hormone signaling
â
Sleep and recovery
â
Healthy aging
â
Skin and collagen support
That's why saying, "I'm taking a peptide," doesn't really tell us much.
It's like saying, "I drive a vehicle."
A motorcycle, pickup truck, and sports car are all vehiclesâbut they're built for very different jobs.
The same is true with peptides.
The most important question isn't:
â "Which peptide should I take?"
It's:
â
"What goal am I trying to accomplish?"
Because the right tool always depends on the destination.
In this episode, we break down peptides, GLP 1 medications, hormone therapy, recovery, and healthy aging in plain English so you can better understand your options and make informed decisions about your health.

Ownership doesnât mean you control everything.
There are plenty of things you canât control.
The market.
Other people.
Outcomes.
But you can control your contribution.
How you speak.
How you show up.
Whether you shut down or lean in.
Whether you escalate or diffuse.
Those are choices.
And most of them are learned responses â which means they can be relearned.
Ownership is powerful because you stop waiting for someone else to go first.
You go first.
In your body.
In your finances.
In your marriage.
In your leadership.
Alignment shows you where to focus.
Capacity gives you strength to carry it.
Ownership ensures you donât drift.
Strong body.
Strong bank.
Strong home.
It starts with you.
And that could change everything. đ„
Letâs talk about ownership in your marriage.
When a clientâs spouse isnât fully on board with the changes theyâre making â we address it immediately.
Because this isnât just about fitness.
It could be investing.
Starting a business.
Changing habits.
Leveling up in any area.
If youâre ready to grow and your spouse seems hesitant, itâs easy to say:
âThey donât support me.â
Ownership asks a better question:
âHave I communicated clearly?â
Have you explained your goals?
Why they matter?
Where youâre headed?
What this season requires?
Itâs not:
âWe feel disconnected.â
Itâs:
âHave I initiated connection?â
Itâs not:
âIâm just stressed.â
Itâs:
âHave I built enough capacity so I donât bring chaos into my home?â
You are responsible for the energy you bring into your house.
Thatâs leadership.
Ownership in relationships isnât about control.
Itâs about contribution.
And when one person raises their standard â everything shifts. đ„
Ownership in finances doesnât sound like:
âThe market is bad.â
It sounds like:
âDo I actually have a long-term strategy?â
Itâs not:
âI just need to make more money.â
Itâs:
âAm I building assets⊠or just earning income?â
Itâs not:
âIâll invest later.â
Itâs:
âAm I avoiding responsibility, education, or asking for help?â
Hereâs the truth most people wonât say:
Bad money decisions rarely come from ignorance.
They come from emotional fatigue.
Avoiding the numbers.
Delaying the plan.
Chasing quick wins instead of building real structure.
But when you take ownership â something powerful happens.
It weeds out the weak.
Because when you stop obsessing over headlines and outside factorsâŠ
When you put your head down and executeâŠ
Thereâs less noise.
Less competition.
Less distraction.
Are there fewer opportunities? Maybe.
But thereâs also fewer people disciplined enough to take them.
Wealth requires calm.
Wealth requires patience.
Wealth requires ownership.
You cannot build long-term stability on short-term excuses.
Stop reacting to the world.
Start building within it.
Thatâs financial power. đ„
âWhat part of this is mine?â
That single question shifts everything.
Because when you ask it, you stop waiting.
You stop hoping.
You stop blaming.
And you start building.
Body ownership sounds like this:
Not, âI donât have time.â
But, âI havenât made it a priority.â
Not, âMy metabolism is slow.â
But, âI havenât built consistent habits.â
Not, âI fell off.â
But, âI stopped protecting my standards.â
That shift isnât comfortable.
But itâs powerful.
Because the moment you own it, you regain control.
Your body isnât confused.
Itâs responding exactly to the patterns youâve created.
Ownership isnât about being perfect.
Itâs about being responsible for your inputs.
And when you take responsibility â
You give yourself permission to rebuild. đ„
Hereâs the hard truth:
Ownership removes the excuses.
And thatâs scary.
Because when you own itâŠ
You canât blame the market.
You canât blame your spouse.
You canât blame your schedule.
You canât blame stress.
When you own it â you canât outsource it anymore.
But hereâs the flip sideâŠ
The moment you own it,
You can change it.
And thatâs freedom.
If your output grew faster than your infrastructure â
Build the infrastructure.
If your body drifted â
Rebuild your standards.
If your money is messy â
Create structure.
If your marriage feels strained â
Initiate.
Ownership isnât punishment.
Itâs power.
It starts with you.
If itâs not where you want itâŠ
Your body.
Your money.
Your marriage.
Start here: Ownership.
Not blame.
Not shame.
Ownership.
Stop asking, âWhy is this happening?â
Start asking, âWhat part of this is mine?â
Thatâs where your power comes back.
Strong body.
Strong bank.
Strong home.
It starts with you. đ„
If you feel maxed out⊠itâs not a motivation problem.
Itâs a capacity problem.
Youâre not lazy.
Youâre the one who built the career, the business, the family.
But your output grew faster than your infrastructure.
Burnout doesnât come from working hard.
It comes from never shutting down.
High performers donât need more hustle.
They need more capacity.
Most people donât actually lack time.
They lack permission to use it on themselves.
Because somewhere along the way, time stopped feeling like it was theirs.
It belongs to the baby.
The partner.
The job.
The house.
The never-ending list of responsibilities.
So when they even think about taking time for themselves, it feels like theyâre stealing it from someone elseâespecially their child. And that guilt shuts everything down before it ever starts.
But the truth no one says out loud?
A depleted mom doesnât serve anyone better.
A healthy, supported mom does.
Taking time for yourself isnât neglect.
Itâs leadership.
Itâs how you show up stronger for everyone who depends on you.
