I had the opportunity to attend a Veteran Lunch & Learn earlier this week at the University of Kansas, hosted by the Veterans Legal Support Clinic at the KU School of Law, alongside Kansas Justice League, the Eastern Kansas VA Health Care System, and the Robert Irvine Foundation.

The focus was simple and important. Educate veterans and connect them with resources that can make a real difference.

I was grateful to meet not only veterans looking for guidance, but also professionals from other organizations who are doing meaningful work in support of service members, veterans, and their families. Different missions, but very much aligned in purpose.

I also spent time with Bob Yarnall and Mike Schlitz from the Robert Irvine Foundation. Strong partners who share a commitment to serving this community.

Strong support systems are built by a team, and it's inspiring to see so many people coming together to help and make a difference.
