A HUGE thank you to the amazing crew at Kansas City Grooming Academy for spending time with our pack today and getting everyone cleaned up, trimmed up and feeling fabulous! 💙

And on their third visit to The Ranch since Arlo joined us… the stars finally aligned. ARLO. GOT. A. BATH. 😂🎉

For a guy who has apparently considered grooming services strictly optional, this feels like a pretty big milestone. We’re happy to report he survived the indignity — and is now considerably fresher for it. 😉

Thank you, KC Grooming Academy, for your patience, kindness and generosity with our senior pups. Having friends in our community who give their time and talents to care for our pack means so much to us. 🐶❤️

And Arlo… you clean up pretty darn well, buddy. 💙

💙 More than a year of waiting. One really good boy. And one thing still missing: his FURever. 💙

Conrad has been part of the Imagine FURever Ranch family since June 2025. Thankfully, this handsome 9-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer is currently settled into a wonderful foster home, where he’s safe, comfortable and very loved. Now we’d love to make sure his next move is his last one. 🏡🐾

Conrad is an easy-going gentleman who enjoys life at a slower pace. He loves leisurely walks, sunny naps, people of all ages, other dogs and—perhaps most importantly—tennis balls. 🎾 Hide them if you must. Conrad will find them.

He is a special-needs senior with Cushing’s disease, a Grade 5 heart murmur and mild arthritis. His conditions require ongoing veterinary care and medication, so his adopter will need to be prepared for that commitment. But spend a little time with Conrad and you’ll quickly understand why we say he is worth every extra step. ❤️

After more than a year of waiting, we want Conrad to know what it feels like to be home for good—with someone who looks at that sweet, silver-flecked face and can’t imagine life without him.

💛 Sammy has been waiting since May 2025. It’s time for his “foster” home to become a stepping stone to FURever. 💛

For more than a year, Sammy has been part of the Imagine FURever Ranch family. Thankfully, he’s spending his days in a wonderful foster home where he is safe, comfortable and very loved. But there’s still one thing missing:

A family to call his very own. 🏡

At 12 years young, Sammy has his priorities figured out. He loves his routines. He appreciates a good treat. And one of his absolute favorite things is climbing onto the couch and settling in for a nap with his person. 🛋️🐾

He isn’t looking for someone to completely change his world. He’s looking for someone willing to simply make him part of theirs.

After more than a year of waiting, we would LOVE to finally write the post that says:

Remember our always-smiling, tail-wagging Tommy? This happy little guy has settled into a wonderful foster home, where he’s getting to enjoy all the comforts of home life while he waits for the one thing he still needs:

Tommy is about 5 years old and 30 pounds of pure happiness. He’s friendly, social, dog-friendly, and seems to approach just about everything with a wagging tail and that signature Tommy smile.

We’ve watched him shine out in the community, too. He joined us for the Old Shawnee Days Parade, happily walking part of the route, greeting people along the way, and charming pretty much everyone he met. This boy LOVES people—and people seem to love him right back!

His foster home is giving Tommy a wonderful place to land, but fostering is only the bridge. FURever is the destination.

That’s right—our sweet, soulful Dutch is officially ADOPTED! 💙🏡

Just look at the smiles!!! ❤🐾❤

Dutch came to us from the Clinton Animal Shelter in December 2025 after being found as a stray. Since then, we’ve watched this special boy settle in, win over our volunteers, grace the pages of West End Neighbors and even get his moment in the spotlight on Great Day KC. All along, we hoped the right family was out there watching.

They were. ❤️

Dan and Tamara, along with their kids Keith and Cassie, have opened their hearts and home to Dutch! And if their names sound familiar, there’s a reason. This wonderful family previously adopted our beloved Annie, who passed away in March after being deeply loved by her family.

Annie also left behind a four-legged family member who has been missing her terribly.

Bree, the family's 10-year-old Goldendoodle, came from a difficult breeding situation and spent much of her early life confined to a cage. She is gentle, sweet and loving, but she relies on another dog to help her feel confident and understand the people around her. After losing Annie, Bree struggled—and the family knew they all needed time to grieve before opening their hearts again.

Now they’re ready. And along came Dutch. 🥹

Bree loves being outdoors, and we’re hoping she and Dutch will become exactly what each other needs: a companion, a source of confidence and a best friend.

The family has also embraced Dutch exactly as he is. They understand that his Cushing’s disease requires ongoing medication and medical care, and they are fully committed to providing for his needs for the rest of his life. That kind of commitment means everything to us.

Dutch, you’ve come a long way from that stray dog in Clinton. You waited patiently while we promised you there was a family out there who would see just how special you are.

They found you. 💙

Congratulations, Dutch—and congratulations to the entire family - Dan, Tamara, Keith, Cassie, and Bree! We can’t wait to watch this next chapter unfold.

At 89 pounds, Reno may be a big boy—but this handsome 12-year-old Chocolate Lab is really just an oversized sweetheart! Calm, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing, Reno would love nothing more than a comfortable home where he can relax, soak up attention, and enjoy his golden years beside someone who loves him.

Reno gets along well with other dogs and has previously lived with cats. He does have weakness in his back legs and is attending physical therapy to rebuild his strength and improve his mobility. Reno also has Cushing’s disease, which is managed with medication. Because his medication and ongoing care can be costly, he needs a committed family prepared to continue giving him everything he needs to feel his best.

If you have room in your heart and home for 89 pounds of cool, calm Labradorableness, please consider adopting or fostering Reno. This big, lovable lug is ready to meet his person! 🐾
