Welcome to my next unveiling of yet another beautiful portrait from my Artist Project 2022–The Sutton Collection.
My goal in this Project is to create an artful photographic body of work that expresses the beauty and wonder of the intimacy of friendship, trust and love between a mother and her child.
Last evening we hosted the portrait Reveal for our generous and supportive models, Skye Douglass and her daughter Alex. I send a huge “thank you” to these two ladies.
Skye and Alex, it is edifying for me to have captured in these portraits of you the genuineness of your deep and maturing friendship as mother and daughter.
My special thanks to you, Skye Douglass for lending your artistry and creative talents, and for contributing beautiful formal gowns, jewelry and accessories from your boutique, House of Couture Designs Inc for the benefit of The Sutton Collection. Thank you for taking the time to collaborate with me. I have so enjoyed getting to know you better.
Additionally, thank you to Angie Mehlhorn Hair and Makeup Artistry for making all our models look their fabulous best.

Welcome to my Artist Project 2022—the Sutton Collection. My goal is to create a photographic body of work that expresses to the viewer my love of the beauty and wonder of domestic life, the intimacy of motherhood, the relationship of a mother with her children, and the authenticity of their love for one another.
We hosted the initial Sutton Collection Reveal today, and it turned out wonderfully.
A huge thank you to Katie Smith for being one of our first Artist Project participants.
It was so fun to look through your images together. You look gorgeous!
A special thank you as well to House of Couture Designs Inc for providing the amazing gowns, jewelry, and accessories to allow me to add some unique and elegant details to this experience.
