Kids Creative Corner

I am so excited to start Kids Creative Corner. I imagine that it is going to be an amazing program for kids with physical disabilities. Some details are that it is going to be at Sewickley Valley Northway (the address is 200 Deer Run Road Sewickley, PA 15143) and it is going to take place every other Saturdays from 2-3:30 pm. My personal background is in Recreational Therapy. I was in school at Slippery Rock University and ended up with paralysis from the chest down and now use a power wheelchair. I am hoping to finish my degree and work in a pediatric hospital, but love working with children of all ages and abilities. My group is going to be open to children/young adults with physical disabilities.

Would late Saturday mornings work as a time to meet?

Kids Creative Corner is going to be a place for children and young adults with physical disabilities and their families to come for crafts, activities, and more. My dream is that the families feel comfortable coming to Kids Creative Corner. It is going to be a place where kids and young adults can have fun without worries of accessibility or feeling different. Kids Creative Corner is a safe space where parents and caretakers can relax together while children with disabilities and siblings can have fun with crafts, games, activities, and more.
