We checked the Statue of Liberty off our list the other day 🗽✨ Pretty cool to see in person! Here’s a tip if you ever want to catch a great view — take the Staten Island Ferry. 🚢 It’s free and rides right past the statue.
Pro tip: stand on the right-hand side of the ferry for the best views. When you land on Staten Island, you might get lucky like we did and catch the return ferry right away.
We went around midday, and it was the perfect break — just sat back, enjoyed the breeze, and gave our feet a rest. The ride each way takes about 20–30 minutes. Highly recommend! 🙌

Bougie camping? You bet. 🎥 Yeah, we watch movies in our camper. One of these days I’ll do a video on our setup. For now, we’re just soaking in some chill time after our New York City trip. 🏕️🍿

Well done, factory... you screwed this one up royally. 😤
While replacing the camper tires, I noticed one looked a little off. We had already swapped the other two on the opposite side last week, so I popped this one off just to inspect it — and what do I find? A completely smashed wheel bearing cap.
Whoever installed this clearly hammered it in, saw the damage, and just moved on. No fix, no care. Just slapped it together and called it done.
Absolutely ridiculous. Manufacturers need to do way better when it comes to safety and quality — especially when families are trusting their campers out on the road.
🔧 Tip: Always inspect your camper thoroughly. You never know what corners were cut.

Things you don’t want to learn the hard way…
Make sure you know how to change a tire before you’re stuck on a remote dirt road with no signal and hungry kids in the back. 🛞💪
It’s one of those must-know skills when you’re out camping or towing a trailer.
📌 Save this as a reminder — and if you’ve got a story of a tire mishap, we want to hear it!

A few years back while camping in Pigeon Forge, we took a break from the campground and hiked the Laurel Falls Trailin the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 🌲🥾
It’s a 1.2-mile paved trail each way—perfect for families—and the reward at the end is so worth it. 💦
The falls were flowing, the water was ice cold (just how we like it 😄), and we spent time soaking it all in—feet in the stream, views for days, and a peaceful moment at the top of this beautiful, family-friendly trail.
Definitely a must-do if you’re in the area! 🏞️

Throwback to one of our favorite family outings—Grant’s Farm in St. Louis 🐴🌿
A few years back, we spent the day exploring this awesome place that blends history, nature, and hands-on animal fun. It’s built on land once owned by Ulysses S. Grant, but today it’s a free (yep, free!) animal preserve run by the Busch family—and it’s super family-friendly.
There’s something for everyone here:
🐐 Feeding baby goats (bring quarters for bottles!)
🚜 A tram ride through the wildlife park where you spot bison, deer, and more
🐦 Parakeets you can feed, camels to meet, llamas to pet
🎠 Carousel rides + animal shows for the littles
🍺 And yep—free beer samples for the grownups 🍻
One of the coolest parts? Getting up close and personal with the Clydesdales—they’re even more majestic in person. You can brush them, pet them, or just stand in awe. That moment stuck with us big time, and they’re right there in one of our favorite photos. 💙
If you’re ever near St. Louis and want a day filled with animals, smiles, and a little history mixed in—Grant’s Farm is worth the stop.

Lunch on the road? Yes please.
We love packing our own meals when we travel—not just to save money, but to save time too.
No need to search for food or wait in drive-thru lines. Stop for gas, grab your cooler, and boom—lunch is served. 🥪⛽️
