Laney and Bishop Announce New Instrumental Single “Gee Let’s Run,” Arriving June 5th on Sound Biscuit Records.

East Tennessee acoustic duo Laney and Bishop (LAB) are set to release their spirited new instrumental single, “Gee Let’s Run,” on June 5, 2026, via Sound Biscuit Records. The upbeat bluegrass instrumental, composed by Colby Laney, is available now for pre-save and DJ download. Click BELOW:

Rooted in classic bluegrass musicianship while carrying a fresh, energetic edge, “Gee Let’s Run” was born out of an unexpected setback. After suffering an injury during a basketball game, Laney turned recovery into inspiration.

Colby Laney shares, “‘Gee, Let’s Run’ was written after I tore my ACL during a pickup basketball game. The title plays on the musical term ‘G Run,’ and the tune became a way to stay positive and look ahead during recovery. It’s an upbeat instrumental that reflects that mindset—something fun to play, fun to jam on and a reminder that better days are always coming.”
