Does the thought of getting up earlier than you have to stress you out? You don’t want to get up early and then have to put on workout clothes?
Getting up early is not easy but I know it’s the only time I have to do something good for myself. Groggy, stumbling around to my bathroom to put on workout clothes was a challenge most mornings. I used to be off-balance and have to hold onto the wall. That is, until I started to go to sleep in my workout clothes. Sleeping in my workout clothes means that I can get out of bed. Mix my energize and hit my workout. I don’t have to take 5 or 10 minutes to put on an outfit to work out in, because it’s already on and I don’t have to stumble around in the bathroom, half asleep holding onto the wall.
I do what I have to do to get my workout in. What modification could you make to your morning routine to do something good for you?

Weekly lunch and breakfast prepped. Tuna, onion, celery wraps will be dipped into balsamic vinegar and the breakfast casserole of 4 eggs, 8 egg whites, onions, peppers, broccoli and a little shredded cheddar, salt and pepper.

Monday morning workout done!
You don’t have to do a formal program or workout to get your movement in. Saturdays are my cleaning days. I set my watch to other workout mode and by the time I’m don’t cleaning I’ve don’t multiple squats, arm exercises and core. With a typical cleaning day I burn between 400 and 1000 calories. It just depends if I do both floors or split them up each week.
In addition to cleaning my downstairs this past weekend, I purged and cleaned a lot of our garage. Another 2+ hours of lifting, squaring and arms.
Physically and mentally healthy for the win!

Lymphatic drainage for the WIN!
Early morning weightlifting followed by some rebounding. I’ve been feeling a bit swollen and inflamed so I hit the mini-trampoline after my morning lift workout. Feeling much better.

Saturday morning workout done. I try and take the weekends off but yesterday I decided to stay in bed most of the day and read.
It’s been a long time since I took the time to read my books that have been waiting for me on the shelves. This month alone I have read four books. I love reading because they can take me out of my own head and bring me to places. I never thought I would be. It gives me a little downtime and time to focus on something other than my health. However, good reading IS mental health support!
