WE ARE TAKING A BREAK!

The last five years have been crazy. Relocating Banning Locomotive Works LLC to Washington, buying and relocating Little Engines LLC from Pennsylvania to Washington, the birth of my youngest child, somehow helping keep the hobby alive through years of a pandemic that closed so many small businesses (including all of the foundries I used), and returning to work as a fire fighter…

However, after years of toil and months of reflection, I have decided to take a break from the industry for a while. I reached out to numerous people who I thought would be capable and a good fit to take over Little Engines. All declined. I don’t want to send it over seas, so -

On October 1st, we will be taking a break for an undetermined amount of time. I will not be building trains (BLW LLC) or supplying parts (LE LLC) until I am ready and able to dedicate the time and energy necessary to support this hobby I love.

I’ve enjoyed serving our community in live steam these last 33 years. Thank you to all those who supported me and my businesses; it’s been my pleasure to serve you. Keep moving forward!
