Living in a small town with generational history can sometimes shock the living hell outta ya.
Yesterday, while showing a random home to clients, I happened to notice this box sitting alone in an otherwise emptied shop. The name on the box is my Great Grandmother “the old gramma” we called her. Turns out that this home was owned by my Great Uncle Mel many years ago. This box happened to have been left in the shop through subsequent owners.
I bought it from the seller and am taking it to my now 96yo grandmother who, I’m sure, will get a kick out of seeing her mom’s plywood box.
