New water pump on a Freightliner with a DD13!

Customer stated the instrument cluster was working intermittently and there was a burning plastic smell. A/C and climate control stopped functioning. Upon unplugging the climate control module, the instrument cluster began working again (never have seen this before but it was obviously creating a short). Replaced the climate control module and began to investigate a deeper issue. The fan motor resistor and fan motor were red hot. Replaced resistor, wiring, and fan motor and the customer is back in business.

Out with the old, in with the new!

New A/C compressor, vacuumed and recharged….ice cold now! 🥶

I’d say this customer needs a new wheel hub! Great thing he called when he did.

That is one filthy carb! Always use a fuel additive (such as Sta-Bil) in your small engines when they sit for long periods of time.
