Please join us in congratulating Assistant Chief Jeff Eiland on his graduation from the prestigious FBI National Academy, Session 298.

The FBI National Academy is one of the most respected leadership programs in law enforcement, bringing together the top law enforcement leaders from across the United States and around the world for an intensive 10-week program focused on leadership, organizational management, contemporary policing strategies, and professional development.

During the 10 week academy, Assistant Chief Eiland completed multiple rigorous course curriculums that include:
* Advanced leadership coursework,
* College accredited instruction in conjunction with the University of Virginia,
* Intense physical fitness and wellness training culminating in the grueling 6.1 mile “Yellow Brick Road”,
* Networking and collaboration with police leaders around the globe.

Graduation from the National Academy represents a commitment to excellence, lifelong learning, and servant leadership. The knowledge, experience, and professional relationships developed through this program will continue to benefit not only our department, but the citizens of Semmes for years to come.

Assistant Chief Eiland's successful completion of the FBI National Academy reflects his dedication to the profession, his commitment to advancing public safety, and his investment in the future of the Semmes Police Department.

We are proud of him and grateful for his continued leadership, vision, and service to our great City.

🚧 Road Closures At This Time- Flooding 🚧

Due to flooding in the area, the following roads are currently closed:

Wulff Rd, Nursery Rd, Illinois at church, Jeremy Dr, Redstone, McCrary Rd at Eastwood

Please use caution, avoid driving through flooded areas, and seek alternate routes when possible.

We will continue to monitor conditions and will update this post as additional road closures are reported.

Lott Road between Spice Pond and McCrary Road is starting to flood. Also, parts of McCrary Road and Stone Road are starting to flood. Please use an alternate route.

When you place your order, simply mention that you're there to support our Hometown Heroes, and 20% of your purchase will be donated directly back to our local Police, Fire, and EMS agencies.

🚒 Touch-A-Truck Event will be held from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.
Bring the family out for an opportunity to get up close with emergency vehicles, meet local first responders, and learn more about the men and women who help keep Semmes safe. Kids will have the chance to explore fire apparatus, police vehicles, and an ambulance in a fun, hands-on environment.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy your favorite Sonic treats while giving back to the agencies that proudly serve our community. We hope to see everyone there for this fun, family-friendly event as we celebrate our hometown heroes!

Officer Law spoke to the kids at Chestang Middle School about safety awareness. Thank you Officer Law for taking the time to speak to our youth about running away from danger and calling 911!

There is currently a scam going around from the "Trade Commission" that if people don't pay a certain amount, Chief Freind will have a warrant signed. THIS IS NOT TRUE! We will never call you and solicit money over the phone for ANY reason.
