I was listening to a podcast recently with David Sinclair and heard something that really caught my attention.

He says his team has developed a gene therapy approach that may be able to restore vision by helping damaged eye cells act young again. In animal studies, researchers were able to reverse some vision loss and repair damage associated with glaucoma.

What’s especially interesting is that this isn’t about changing your DNA. The idea is that our cells lose important instructions as we age, and this therapy may help restore those instructions.

The first human clinical trials are now beginning, so nobody knows yet whether it will work in people. Still, the possibility of helping people recover vision rather than simply slowing vision loss is pretty amazing.

Imagine a future where medicine can actually repair damaged tissues instead of just treating symptoms.

Have you heard about this research? What do you think?

Before and after… without touching a hammer. 🔨

My buyers absolutely loved this home—the pool, the number of bedrooms, and the overall layout were a great fit for their family’s needs.

The one concern? The kitchen felt a little short on storage and cabinet space.

So instead of focusing on the challenge, we explored a simple island concept that could add storage, functionality, and a whole new feel to the room. (used ChatGPT🤭)

One of my favorite parts of real estate is helping buyers see possibilities they may not notice at first glance. A home doesn’t have to be perfect on day one. Sometimes a little vision reveals exactly what you’ve been looking for.

What do you think? Would adding the island make a difference?

One of the things I’m most grateful for about living in the Tampa Bay area is having the world at my doorstep.

Within a few hours, I can leave Florida and be in Bogotá, Colombia—a place that has become a special retreat for me. It’s where I slow down, focus on my health, explore local markets, enjoy authentic Colombian food, and reconnect with what matters most.

Sometimes the greatest luxury isn’t a fancy hotel or an expensive vacation. It’s having the freedom to step away from the noise, immerse yourself in another culture, and return home refreshed and inspired.

Living in Tampa Bay means beautiful beaches, sunshine, and access to one of the best airports in the country. But for me, it also means having an easy path to a place that nourishes my mind, body, and spirit.

I never take that for granted. ❤️✈️🇨🇴

Some days, it’s good to remember why so many people choose to call Florida home.

The sound of the waves.
The warmth of the sun.
A walk along the beach.
Sea birds gliding overhead.
The endless horizon where the sky meets the ocean.

For some, it’s a vacation. For others, it’s a way of life.

Whether you’re dreaming of a waterfront condo, a beach cottage, or simply a home that lets you enjoy more of what matters most, Florida offers a lifestyle that’s hard to match.

If you’re looking for your own special place in the Sunshine State, I’d be honored to help you find it.

Sunday was a Showing Marathon!

16 homes. 6 hours. Countless insights.

One of my favorite things about working with buyers is watching their understanding of the market grow with every home we visit. Photos and floor plans can only tell part of the story. Walking through homes is where the real learning happens.

By the end of the day, my buyers had a much clearer picture of what they wanted, what they didn’t want, and what good value looks like.

It was a long day—and absolutely worth it.

Recent Trip to New Orleans for LegalShield Conference

Mid-City, New Orleans 🤍

Quiet streets, but full of story.

Unlike the French Quarter, these homes reflect a different chapter—late 1800s to early 1900s growth, where raised foundations, deep porches, and tall windows weren’t just design… they were built for the climate.

Function became beauty.

Clean lines, symmetry, and subtle details—nothing loud, but everything intentional.

New Orleans doesn’t just have one identity… it evolves block by block.

Named after a legendary line of Mississippi riverboats, today’s Natchez keeps that legacy alive as one of the last authentic steamboats still cruising the river. Powered by steam and tradition, she reflects a time when these boats were the lifeline of trade, travel, and culture along the Mississippi.

And that unforgettable sound drifting through the air? 🎶
It comes from the calliope—a rare steam-powered instrument that plays music through whistles, once used to announce a steamboat’s arrival from miles away.

In New Orleans for a LegalShield convention;

Walking through the French Quarter, I realized something—
what we call “French” is actually a blend of French roots and Spanish rebuilding after devastating fires in the 1700s.

The architecture, the colors, the details… it’s not just beautiful, it’s a story of survival and culture layered over time.

From there to Mid-City, every corner of New Orleans feels alive.
