Activate Selma meets every week for 1 hour to spark creative problem-solving. We encourage individual entrepreneurs. We are more than 200 activators strong! They are busy getting Twin Stars Tattoo together for opening later this summer at 110 W Anderson St and have offered to host our Activate Selma meeting on July 29. This is everything we are learning in Activate Selma, in Main Street NC, in Strong Towns, in Destination Development. Stop in at Quantum Toad. Buy a cool drink on a hot day. Listen to these guys. Listen to what they are doing to invest in themselves and in Selma. Experience this. And then go out and create what you want to create in Selma. It is a wide-open palette, and everyone is doing it now!

DiscoverEastfield today had Meet your Local Heros event.
EMS and Merrill the Squirrel, Sheriff Office, NC State Highway Patrol, Duke Life Flight, Selma Fire Department Selma Police Department all attended. Also Chick-fil-A, Old Navy and Boys & Girls Club of Johnston County attended to support the event.
Everyone had a great time although it was a little 🔥 hot.

We love coming to our "living room" of downtown Selma! We see Colin and Anna unloading -- more of those dumpling things? (what are they???) at Hampton's Corner, get something cool to drink at Coffee on Raiford, and check out the bulletin board on the porch. We'll be back at 5 pm today for Activate Selma After Hours at the Sellers Building - stop for some ice cream at Old Fashioned Ice Cream to benefit Isaiah 117 House Johnston Co NC!
