Our teacher candidate created this incredible stuffed whale to celebrate her knowledge of our Since Time Immemorial course and the ideals of the Native American tribes of Washington State.

After a quick hiatus, we are back! Here is what one of our sweet student had to say about their time with NWED!

"My experience with the program’s personnel was excellent. Everyone I interacted with—from administrative staff to coaches—was professional, responsive, and supportive. Any time I had a question or needed clarification, I received timely and helpful responses. I also appreciated how clearly updates were communicated regarding my status in the program, especially during more complex transitions like my move out of state.

I want to especially recognize Kathlyn, whose feedback on my coursework was always encouraging and supportive, which motivated me to keep improving. Julie, my coach during my internship, was a wonderful match. She not only taught me valuable teaching practices but also helped me think critically about my approach while building my confidence as an educator.
